How much time do you have to cash in a winning ticket at a horse racing off-track betting facility? August 30th, 2009 | Uncategorized | 1 Comment »

I was fortunate to win some money on a few bets I made at an off-track betting facility on the Belmont Stakes race. I totally forgot about it and had the tickets stashed away somewhere. I am pretty sure I can still cash them in, but it made me curious on how much time you have before a winning ticket becomes void.

How can I start winning in horse betting? August 27th, 2009 | Uncategorized | 1 Comment »

Ok, I mostly do trifectas but never win. I don’t like picking favorites because of the money won sucks. What bets do you experts pick as far as tri,tri box, exacta, quin, etc. Sometimes I’ll take a longshot across the board but rarely pans out. Alos how do you determine your picks? Obviously the odds are pretty accurate, but I’d like to actually like to some cash. I frequent a small horse racing venue(paire meadows) and alot of unproven horses race there. Somebody gimme some tips please, I know some of ya’ll are proven winners…but your probably at the track winning right now(sigh). Thanks

Help for multiple betting on horse races e.g. 4 horses per race? August 24th, 2009 | Uncategorized | 1 Comment »

odds first race are 3:1 6:1 8:1 12:1 … want return plus stakes.
if loss, then next multiple bet on similar odds would be to regain prior loss plus on last 3 odds and/or break even 3:1 horse

Horse Racing Betting Newbie Question? August 21st, 2009 | Uncategorized | 1 Comment »

I use Bookmaker.com for betting on sports, and I want to bet on X horse to win a certain race. Can anyone tell me how? The only bets I see are win/place/show, exacta, exacta box, and daily double.

Would betting on every horse in a race be a good strategy? August 19th, 2009 | Uncategorized | 1 Comment »

I know you would lose on the one horse that wins but would your winnings from all those that lost cover it?
I meant to say would betting on every horse to loose be a good strategy. That way you have one loosing bet per race. Would the winnings from the rest cover the one loss?
